Eloping in the mountains of Lake Lure: A Day to Remember
There’s something extra special about an intimate elopement surrounded by your favorite people, and this spring evening in Lake Lure, North Carolina was exactly that. The couple and their closest friends and family traveled from Wisconsin to celebrate in one of the most beautiful spots in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Their sunset ceremony took place on the back deck of a mountain Airbnb, with views of Chimney Rock and Lake Lure behind them. It was simple, relaxed, and full of love.
They rented a Lake Lure Airbnb called Wildview Retreat, a beautiful lake-side home perfect for elopements, small weddings, or even a family vacation. The views are amazing, and the house has everything you’d need – lots of space, a game room, hot tub, and it’s even pet-friendly. Events like elopements, intimate weddings, and family gatherings are welcome here, which is a rare find for vacation rentals in the area!
The floral arrangements were created by Flowers by Larry in Hendersonville, NC. Larry is incredibly talented, he actually designed the bouquet for my own wedding years ago, and it’s always fun to see his work again. Everything he made for this day was colorful, fresh, and perfect for a spring celebration in the mountains.
